i was lucky enought to spend 3 days in a row in zaanse schans – small village that has a collection of well-preserved historic windmills and houses. so here’s the photo taken during the cloudy day…

The Zaanse Schans is a neigherhood of Zaandam (near Amsterdam, the Netherlands). It has a collection of well-preserved historic windmills and houses, the ca. 35 houses from all over the Zaanstreek were moved to the area starting in 1961.

I went to the Zaanse Schans a few weeks ago to take some pictures and see the area. The weather was pretty creepy but it created an amazing sunset.

I went to the Zaanse Schans last week with Wouter van Oosten. I took this picture just before heavy rainfall. i think the colors in the clouds is created by the citylights (light pollution).
