So here we are walking the 2km to see some “stones in a field”. The shuttle bus from the visitor centre won’t allow dogs and I had ours with me. Once there I wasn’t allowed into the area to view the stones either, so chatted to a druid for half an hour, resisted the temptation to dance naked and walked 2 km back….another fun day out!

…that is underexposed, grainy, noisy…pretty much untouched. A bit messy for some, I suspect, who like those perfect photoshopped “images”. In fairness I have cropped it quite a lot, in an attempt to get the Four ‘Birds” of the Apocalypse seen by the viewer, they weren’t added as an afterthought. The rays looked like this, they haven’t been brushed in. I’ve resisted the temptation to put a sickly orange/brown cast over it and wasn’t tempted to dress a child as though they’re from the turn of the 19th century. No antique suitcases were used in the making of this photograph….;-))
