This is a photograph I took whilst at the Wetland Wildfowl Trust in Arundel, West Sussex, England. It shows the leading member of the group of Canada Geese gently making its way across the lake to the edge to investigate the possibility of food.

This was taken there in a small garden they have there that is used to showcase some wildlife friendly garden practices and plants. Clearly it is working as the garden is full of garden birds like this dunnock.

I am a volunteer photographer at the Wetland Wildfowl Trust in Arundel, West Sussex. This was taken there on one of their lakes there where family’s are able to take the young children and feed the ducks up close. The Falcated duck is one that is especially eye catching.
