New on 500px : Valley view.. by holofoten by holofoten

Valley view is such a nice spot in Yosemite. Merced River flanked by the massive El Capitan (left) and Cathedral Rocks and Spires (right). Sometimes I´m very glad that waders are part of my photo equipment, otherwise I would be both wet and cold for shooting this image! I had to walk out in the river to find this foreground.

Sunset at an iconic location in Yosemite Valley. It was hard to keep focused on photography with the splendid view and wonderful freshness in the air.
