New on 500px : Midnight sunset over Gamlebybro and Bakklandet Trondheim by Aziz_Nasuti by Aziz_Nasuti

Picture has been taken around 12 p.m. The Gamlebybro (Old Town Bridge) has become a symbol of Trondheim and connects the two banks of the river Nidelven – the city centre and Bakklandet.

You have not truly been to Trondheim without having crossed the Old Town Bridge. The Old Town Bridge crosses the river Nidelven from the southern end of Kjøpmannsgata and connects the city centre with Bakklandet. Bakklandet is an exciting neighbourhood with inviting cafes and unique boutiques. The bike lift «Trampe» also has its starting point at Bakklandet. Text from Visit Norway. New on 500px : Midnight sunset over Gamlebybro, Bakklandet and Nidelva Trondheim by Aziz_Nasuti by Aziz_Nasuti

This is a midnight sunset around 11:45 p.m. The picture has been taken over gamlebybro (the bridge with the red color). This is an iconic element of the Trondheim. Trondheim with picturesque, tiny, wooden houses. This idyllic neighbourhood on the east side of the Nidelva river features old timber buildings, originally the homes of the working class. Now restored, Bakklandet is a charming mixture of houses, shops and cafés.
Nidelva river cuts through the city, winding its way along the Nidarosdomen park and picturesque areas, with the historic, wooden wharf houses lining its sides towards the mouth at the Trondheim fjord, and the beautiful, wooden bridge amle Bybrocrossing the river. New on 500px : Amazing midnight sunset over Nidelva and Brygga Trondheim by Aziz_Nasuti by Aziz_Nasuti

Picture has been taken at 11:30 p.m. with absolutely amazing colors of the sunset. In this picture nothing has been added or removed. All the reflection and colors were very close to the reality. I just has boosted the shadows. I have used ND filter and gratuate filter for a long-exposure shot. Trondheim with picturesque, tiny, wooden houses. New on 500px : Trondheim, Kristiansten Festning (Fortress) by Aziz_Nasuti by Aziz_Nasuti

Kristiansten Festning, historically spelled Christiansten) is located on a hill east of the city of Trondheim in Sør-Trøndelag county, Norway. It was built after the city fire of Trondheim in 1681 to protect the city against attack from the east. Construction was finished in 1685. It fulfilled its purpose in 1718 when Swedish forces laid siege against Trondheim. The fortress was decommissioned in 1816 by king Charles XIV John.
