Southwark Underground Station, London, England – http://ift.tt/V5qrF7

Just back from a weeks holiday down in Devon, nice and relaxed. The weather was great for most part compared to here in North Yorkshire so I made the most of the Sun that we got down in Devon.

I did get a few photos which I will work through in the next few days but todays upload is from the vaults and is of Southwark Underground station. I love this view, one of my favourites within the station but for some reason it is a pig to get all lined up, I am not sure if its the spacing between the tunnel arches or the unusual patterns going on with the roof at the end but in the end I think I got it right.

I am really looking forward to my Underground ‘Ghost’ Station tour a week on Friday at Charing X, can’t wait to get some photos of that awesome station, well the closed Jubilee Part of it.

Oh also just to let everyone know, I have finally joined Instagram, yes I know I am a bit slow but if your on it and wish to follow me click the link below

Embankment Underground Station, London, England – http://ift.tt/V5qrF7

One for my ‘Conception Fabrication’ collection, this is one of the tunnels at Embankment Tube Station but its my interpretation of it and hope you like it.

I hadn’t visited this station in a few years as it was undergoing a major refurbishment and to my astonishment they had got rid of the dark blue tiles that lined this tunnel and replaced them with a cream coloured version which in my opinion I don’t like and look horrid! The blue tiles I felt gave the station character although it did make it a little dingy in places which I suppose is why they got rid of them and I got to thank those cream tiles as it made the job easier in creating this high key feel.

Hope you are all having a great day and many thanks for your comments on my photo yesterday.
