New on 500px : McDougal Church by ryan_kole by ryan_kole

I was undecided with what I wanted to do a few weeks ago… Historically when that happens, I hop in the car and pick a direction. Before I knew it, I was at McDougal church and there wasn’t a cloud in the sky. For a national heritage site, I am still in disbelief that it is unmarked haha.

New on 500px : The Sound of Silence by ryan_kole by ryan_kole

I was going through an old memory card a few days ago and stumbled upon this one.

This is the lake right across the road from the Nordic Center in Canmore Alberta. I absolutely love this image. It remains on a memory car exactly as is.

New on 500px : Sacred Silence by ryan_kole by ryan_kole

Taken back on September 30th of last year.

My hiking plans were thwarted that day so I ended up heading to Moraine Lake without a cloud in the sky.

It was an absolutely unreal day. I even managed to find some territory to myself by the shoreline… Even though the place was crawling with people.

New on 500px : Just Outside Morely Alberta by ryan_kole by ryan_kole

I took this a few weeks ago… I ended up going to McDougal Church. There is a walking path from McDougal Church that leads right down to the river.

New on 500px : Mount Inglismaldie by ryan_kole by ryan_kole

It dawned on me that this is my 500th upload. I once again thank everyone for every like, favourite, follow and comment.

I took this a few weeks ago at Lake Minnewanka. I went in search of the “lone tree” and have come to the conclusion that it does not exist. And I will continue to think this until someone shows me exactly where it is haha. I bouldered from the main lookout by the outhouse to the end of the service road. I’m pretty sure I would have found it should it exist haha.

Anyway… This is Mount Inglismaldie framed through an ice chunk at the base of the lake.

It’s truly amazing to me how a Heritage site like this is unmarked haha. It’s just a random turnoff on Highway 1a.

Anyway… I’m glad I decided to head there before the clouds and snow rolled in a few weeks ago haha.

New on 500px : Gap Lake by ryan_kole by ryan_kole

Taken a few days ago… I became fixated on this crack in the ice. I like to think it makes for a good leading line haha. I hope everyone enjoys this as much as I do.

New on 500px : The View from my Favourite Armchair by Turnipfarmer by Turnipfarmer

Bank-Monument Underground Station, London, England – http://ift.tt/V5qrF7

Busy weekend just gone for me. On Saturday I was busy photographing a wedding with fellow Mark Hepples, got some good photos too and also gave me the chance to try out the awesome Sony A7S which we both hired out! May share a couple of photos with you all sometime.

Anyway, this is an old photo and reworked photo. One of my favourite stations on the London Underground network to photograph although I am sure people who use it on a daily basis for commuting would probably disagree with me as it does get horrendously busy at peak times and often platforms have to be closed off until crowding eases!

Luckily I got a quiet day when I took this photo, something that doesn’t happen very often. I am planning on going down to London this week sometime all being well and looking forward to getting some photos of the new tunnel at Canary Wharf Crossrail station and also at the same time get my new medium format Film camera serviced whilst I down there too.

I hope you are all having a stunning Monday.
