Wandering around the Smith Street Food Centre is a fun way to spend time. A big wet market in the basement, first floor sells clothing and general goods, and the upper floor has a huge sprawling hawker centre. This is taken from the first floor looking up towards the HDB flats, you can see people hanging their laundry out to dry from the windows.
