There was a high surf advisory for Santa Monica, that morning. The tide was coming in fast and the waves were huge. Whenever a super jumbo wave hit, it would add to a puddle that was forming above the high tide line. After a couple of really big waves hit, it wasn’t a puddle anymore, and it was big enough to use as a mirror for this photo.
