A pair of Sandhill Cranes. Thee migratory birds stop in the area on their way to and from their summer and winter grounds. This location is the Pigeon River Fish & Wildlife Refuge, which is operated by the state of Indiana. The area is a deignated waterfowl resting area for all migratory birds, including Canadian Geese, Snow Geese, and many others.
