This is one of the Reddish egret males that was involved in my previous fight series. While photographing this beautiful specimen, I noticed the immediate change in posture and plumage behind it’s head stand up. Apparently, it noticed the other male that landed by that was contesting for it’s fishing territory. Within seconds, the fight ensued…now you know the rest of the story 🙂
