Here is a shot I took on our last trip to Costa Rica. It is a king vulture (Sarcoramphus papa
) The have a span wingspan around 2 meters so they so they are pretty large. As this birds are extremely shy this one is taken from a hide. You can see he/she has eaten well since the crop is very full.
