New on 500px : Blue-legged chameleon by scipbe by scipbe

We found this male blue-legged chameleon or cryptic chameleon in Ranomafana national park during a night walk. This chameleon is endemic to southern Madagascar. It has a nose horn and can have many vibrant colors. The legs can be fully blue or just with blue spots.

A female Parson’s chameleon (Calumma parsonii) in the rainforest of Andasibe. The Parson’s chameleon is one of the largest species of chameleons (up to 45cm) and it is endemic to isolated regions of humid primary forest in eastern and northern Madagascar. We found this wonderful chameleon during a night walk in one of the private reserves near Andasibe-Mantadia national park in eastern Madagascar.
