Earlier designs of the bridge (built 1905-1907) was part of the railway bridge of the Small ring of the Moscow railway across the Moskva river in Moscow. In 1999-2000, the Central arch of the bridge moved to the North and formed the basis of a new pedestrian bridge. On the other side of the Moscow river lies the Central Park of culture and rest named after Maxim Gorky.

The late afternoon sun illuminates the railway bridge that spans Årstaviken.
The concrete bridge shows beautiful curves and is painted in a color that is typical for Sweden.

It took seven or eight visits to this location before I got the conditions I wanted, which basically isn’t a big deal since it’s only a five mins drive away. Almost forgot to mention the 100 m sprint and the rapid succession of tantrums when the light was good. Plenty of focal points for dof.
