Paris in the spring is truly magical. The weather changes minute by minute, clouds scud across the sky, a profusion of boats ply their trade (mostly tourists, these days!) up and down the Seine, and the trees and shrubs dot the landscape with tiny explosions of color. Over it all the Iron Lady calmly and elegantly commands the attention of young and old, secure in her dominion over this lovely city that even strangers wish to call home.
