Aarihini stopped the car to take in the stillness that surrounded her in the countryside. She was glad she decided to get away and explore! She knew she was only a few hours from the city, but she felt like she was in a different world altogether.
She took a few deep breaths as she admired the green, the quiet and most of all, the feeling of being completely liberated from the chaos of the city. She had even switched her mobile off to make sure she didn’t pay attention to the endless stream of emails that were coming to her inbox.
“They can wait until Monday,” she weakly told herself as she felt a wave of guilt pass through her for ignoring her work.
