From a long time ago I wanted to vsit Seattle. Supersonics was one of the reasons and photography the other. Sadly Supersonics do not exist enymore but my main goal was photography. This is a classic picture but I wanted to take and enjoy it and I did, a lot. In this picture I used 4 different pictures of different moments in order to blend it later in post. I hope you enjoy the result.

Desde hace muchos años quería visitar Seattle. Los Supersonics de la NBA tenía mucho que ver. La fotografia era el otro. Ahora que no existe ya los Supersonics me quedaba lo más importante: la fotografía. Sé que es una foto clásica pero no quería resistirme a hacer mi versión. En ella he mezclado 4 fotos de 4 momentos diferentes y luego unidas en el procesado. Espero que os guste el resultado.

The lesser traveled north side of Mount Hood is a personal favorite area of mine, though the backpacking isn’t the most pleasurable. Often times muddy with 100% chance of mosquito showers. Skin left exposed ends up looking like a dark brown shag carpet as it gets covered in the little bastards.

Ok, maybe I’m exaggerating a bit, but it still sucks. However the grand views of Hood from these meadows at Elk Cove are plenty rewarding, and of the few times I’ve been to this spot, you tend to have it all to yourself.

A new instructional video is in the works and should be available within the next week. People seem to really be enjoying the videos and have had nothing but great things to say, so I *think* they are helping people… it’s been awesome to see the many before/after shots people have been emailing me. Be sure to check the videos out if you are into that sort of thing. It’s all on my website, as well as more photos, photo tour info, processing instruction via Skype like everyone else is doing, etc, etc.

Probably the most dynamic sunrise at Trillium Lake I ever witnessed. 45 minutes of sheer awesomeness. I have a couple hundred or so frames from this morning back in early summer of 2012. I went through them and grabbed one I had not edited. This makes me want to re-edit all of them now. 😀

New on 500px : heceta night by dittto by dittto

Just a little fun from the beach at Heceta Head along the Oregon Coast. After a day of playing around in the Suislaw National Forest, a calm and relaxing evening down at Heceta was very invited. Wasn’t much going on in the sky and the photo tour groups were plentiful there, so as they did their thing I had a little fun while standing in the outlet of Cape Creek, feeling like I was the only one there.
