This weekend I got to treat myself and drive from my home in Bognor regis all the way to the new forest to explore. I have not been there on my own before but the weather was perfect and peaceful. I found a car park near a wooded area and sat down in the sun with my camera, and waited for the wildlife to come to me. This Nuthatch soon joined me, giving me only a fleeting glimpse of course. But being one of my faveourite woodland birds it is a sighting I am pleased with.
