New on 500px : Go right…… by avzon by avzon

Yesterday I went out to visit the kingfisher couple. Spring is in the air! The where digging a nesttunnel. After digging they cleaned themselfs, giving me some great opportunities to get some nice shots. What a great bird to see and watch. You have got to love nature and its creations. Cheers, my friends!

Great egret is hovering over tree tops in search of a suitable place for its nest. Interesting that among these species the male is responsible for the building of a nest.

Большая белая цапля пари́т над верхушками деревьев в поисках подходящего места для гнезда. Интересно, что среди этих птиц за строительство гнезда отвечает самец.

New on 500px : Spotted Eagle-Owl chick by WILDVISION by WILDVISION

The young leave the nest at about six weeks. They still retain some down on their underparts and on their heads.By the time they are nearing the end of the nestling period they become increasingly active and adventurous. This chick was very interested in its reflection in my telephoto lens, on my camera.
