New on 500px : Yoga at sunrise by scipbe by scipbe

A ring-tailed lemur doing yoga at sunrise in the beautiful Anja nature reserve in southern Madagascar. The ring-tailed lemur is the best known lemur of Madagacar which is also found in zoos around the world. The cute ring-tailed lemurs are highly social and they live in groups of up to 30 individuals with a dominant female. Ring-tailed lemur babies are born in September or October. The infants are carried on the chest for the first weeks and afterwards they are carried on the back. The Parson’s chameleon is one of the largest species of chameleons (up to 45cm) and it is endemic to isolated regions of humid primary forest in eastern and northern Madagascar. We found this wonderful chameleon during a night walk in one of the private reserves near Andasibe-Mantadia national park in eastern Madagascar.
