Lindau liegt als südwestlichste Stadt des Freistaates Bayern im Dreiländereck Deutschland-Österreich-Schweiz und ist geografisch eine Insel im Bodensee. Der weiter Stadtverlauf liegt zwar durch Brücken verbunden am Festland, jedoch ist die Insel der Mittelpunkt der Stadt, in deren Zentrum auch die markante Hafeneinfahrt liegt.
Lindau is the most southwesterly city in the Free State of Bavaria in the border triangle Germany-Austria-Switzerland and is geographically an island in Lake Constance. Although the Weiterstadt course is connected by bridges to the mainland, but the island is the center of the city, in the center of the harbor entrance is striking.
Lindau es la ciudad más al suroeste en el Estado Libre de Baviera en el triángulo fronterizo entre Alemania y Austria-Suiza y es geográficamente una isla en el lago de Constanza.
