A ring-tailed lemur doing yoga at sunrise in the beautiful Anja nature reserve in southern Madagascar. The ring-tailed lemur is the best known lemur of Madagacar which is also found in zoos around the world. The cute ring-tailed lemurs are highly social and they live in groups of up to 30 individuals with a dominant female. Ring-tailed lemur babies are born in September or October. The infants are carried on the chest for the first weeks and afterwards they are carried on the back.
