This statue that blows a cool mist in summer and is frequently surrounded by families sits at the center of my “little” town of Decatur. We are an incorporated city basically within the city of Atlanta. We call it a cross between Mayberry and Berkley.

She’s growing increasingly difficult to photograph – moves too fast, makes ridiculous faces, etc. But when I do get a good shot of her, well, it reminds me that she is growing up fast. I just hope she doesn’t mind me pointing the camera at her even as she enters those teenage years . . . wish me luck ; )
