Located on Johns Island, Angel Oak Tree is believed to be the oldest living Oak tree in North America. Well worth a visit if you are in the Charleston, South Carolina area. Often photographed, nothing is so impressive as thousands of spring leaves rustle in a small breeze and the sounds of the arthritic creaks and groans emanating from the old tree.
