It was completed in December 2003 and opened in April 2004. With 41 storeys, it is 180 metres (591 ft) tall and stands on the former sites of the Baltic Exchange and Chamber of Shipping. This construction site in the City of London caught my eye while walking toward Liverpool Street Station so I decided to stop, take out my tripod and capture this rather eclectic mix of high rise towers, cranes and scaffolding. 4 exposures (one for the sky, one for the high rises, one for the tower under construction to the right and one for the scaffolding and fence in the foreground) stacked together in Photoshop, converted to black & white in Silver Efex Pro 2 and then some finishing touches added in Lightroom. Hope you like it!

Singapore City

I’m still alive, but not photographing for leisure as much as before. Saw that this spot was a hot topic currently for Singaporean photographers so I decided to check it out today with my friend, Hakwee.

The thing is… this image is incredibly difficult to create as the proximity and height of the skyscrapers poses quite a bit of challenge to anyone who tries it. As such, there is quite a bit of post work and in particular, I spent about 5 hours just getting all the pieces to fit as correctly as possible.

Hope you dont mind my absence but I will try to only post exceptional work from now on.
