I was in Paris for 5 days and while in the plane over, I figured to try contacting one of my inspirations, mr magenta himself, and see if he is in Paris while I’m there.
That guy is Serge Ramelli who is likely known to us all for touching our perspective on photography in one form or another.
While my intention was not the outdoors on this trip but indoors, architecture especially, my plans changed a bit as Serge replied to my long shot message.
Yet, we missed each other only by few minutes on the bridge of Bir Hakeim, but on those minutes on the bridge I shot this frame which exists only because of Mr Ramelli today.
For that very reason I want to dedicate it him, to his work and contribution to the photographic society around the world.
May God give his effortless enthusiasm still an extra boost so that we can enjoy his coaching and even more his art.
