New on 500px : Marina skyline II by suraj1007 by suraj1007

On my recent visit to one of my friends place I tested few things & I wanted to share this, as this is a classic example where a Tilt Shift lens is must or else the result is what u guys see here…
This image is combination of 3 vertical + 3 horizontal x 3 exposure each
& I was literally pulling my hair while fixing the panoram… Yes the verticals are not straight & the architecture looks funny…
Tilt Shift is the best lens for shooting Architecture..

New on 500px : Hide & Seek II by danyeidphotography by danyeidphotography

I found this shot in my library dated back in 2014 during the fog season in Dubai. When the fog hits the city & reach a very high point, it’s better & highly recommended to shoot above the fog. In my case I was on the 75th floor. By time the fog gets lower until it reaches ground zero & vanishes. As you can see in this shot that the fog is covering most of the Marina bay area including the high towers. My advise is always to shoot on a long exposure mode by adding a ND filter 3 stop or less depend on the timing & available light to have smooth wave layers.
