This is a photograph I took whilst at the Wetland Wildfowl Trust in Arundel, West Sussex, England. It shows the leading member of the group of Canada Geese gently making its way across the lake to the edge to investigate the possibility of food.

A hybrid Canada Goose x domestic goose (with snow on its beak) visits Ottawa during spring migration. Supposedly it has been coming to this area for the last 5 or 6 years!
