Goðafoss… “god’s waterfall” is probably one of the most famous and visited waterfalls in Iceland.

While on a tour, we were really hoping for some great light, but in this area, snow has been still falling, despite “May” prominently displayed in every calendar.

In any case, with some long exposure and good guidance, I’ve been lucky to witness this during our adventure #500pxIcelandTour with Iurie Belegurschi and Slava Mylnikov.

Godafoss is amazing beautiful; I am not the only one who thinks so. The day I took this shot there was literally a line of photographers waiting for the classic shot. I put my headphones on and went exploring. From my vantage point, I could see no one. I had managed to escape…I felt completely alone. I looked over the falls and felt the mist on my face…one word….exhilarating.
