One of my favorite stretches of a stream I found on one of many hikes along the beautiful beech and maple forests. With the right time of day and year, the light filtering through the fresh foliage of said trees creates a warm and inviting atmosphere.

I decided to venture out late one night from my hotel in Paris…didn’t really know where I was going….just walking. Couple of turns here, a nutella and banana crepe, a little more walking and a few more turns, another crepe…..an espresso (actually 2)….and I end up here. I admit that there is no shortage of Eiffel Tower photos in the world, but I couldn’t resist taking another one. And it helped calm down my midnight caffeine and sugar high.
