Hot and humid afternoon up on the Manhattan Bridge. I was originally up there to catch some stormy weather over the city. Unfortunately, the late afternoon thunderstorms passed by just to the north of me.

Luckily the stray clouds set up a nice sunset and I didn’t have to deal with any rain. Though I suppose a little rain would have helped cool things down. That bridge gets really hot with the sun beaming down on it.

This is a three-image panorama. Used a 13-stop ND filter to get exposure times of around 70-75 seconds while shooting towards the sun.

Blue hour view of Lower Manhattan as seen from across the East River in the Brooklyn Bridge Park. This is a set of images stitched together that I have reprocessed because I didn’t like the way it came out when it was originally done last year. Some images are worth revisiting.

This is a long exposure view of the Manhattan Bridge looking south, towards the Brooklyn Bridge.

Used three vertical images from a 14mm lens to stitch together this wide-angle panorama. Used a 10-stop ND to help get the 3 minute exposures. And added the reflection in post.
