I am a volunteer photographer at the Wetland Wildfowl Trust in Arundel, West Sussex. This was taken there at one of their lakes, and it shows a female chestnut teal as she came over to say hello. A lovely bird with very sticking hints of colour.

One of the challenges in taking this picture was to isolate him from the crowd of mallards swimming all around, the same mallards that were in the previous shot of a hybrid canada goose x domestic goose.
