Winter snow melts,
On warm, sunny days,
To freeze once again,
In cold, chilly ways,
With watery trails,
That trickle in flow,
Over and over,
Slowly they grow,
To icy-shaped thorns,
That exist and adorn,
With diamond-like forms,
As decorative swords
Or translucent tusks,
Stalactites that thrust,
Like a Saber-tooth cusp,
Drooling by day,
Melting away…
But here we can see,
Something different to be,
A foot that is free,
To walk off in a Dream,
Once frozen in Time,
Now preparing to move,
A step into Blue,
A mysterious place,
Full of seasonal grace,
Dark and deep,
Often eery,
With illusions that creep,
Like the drip,
We will slip,
Into solitary sleep,
As these shapes,
Will escape,
And we surface,
Renewed,
From our journey,
We grew with a
Step into Blue…
