The Tawny Owl is a fairly large owl. The body length is 37 to 43 cm and the wingspan is 80 to 95 cm. This owl is the most common owl species in the Netherlands. However, the Tawny Owl produce his pellets while flying, making them difficult to find. Unfortunately he looks all the time to heaven and the light became only darker and darker. He was only interested in some crows near his den and noticed me not at all. I have to go back, for this little guy.
