Miss film? Not me. This is a typical macro shot, very similar to my work today. It was taken with a Pentax 100mm F4 macro on either a Pentax KX or ME body. Conversion to digital was done on a Canoscan FS4000US high quality scanner at 2000dpi. I left the slide border on the image for effect.
The film was Fujichrome 100 slide film.
So what’s the verdict. Even high end equipment and similar technique leaves film behind. If you look close you can even notice a scratch, probably from dust in the film cassette, through the flower.
Long Live Digital!
