Europe has a large number of cities which are real gems. They have deep historical roots, are well preserved and are simply beautiful.
Yverdon-les-Bains is such a small European town. It dates back at least to the Roman period during which it was an important city at the crossroads of two strategic commercials routes. It is located at the West end of a beautiful lake, the lake of Neuchâtel in Switzerland.
