Last night was easily my favorite astro-photography session to date. I’ve been waiting since I hurt my ACL a month ago shooting the lunar eclipse with Matt Newman over this beautiful beach to shoot the Milkyway. I knew that It would be a perfect location to shoot some stars.
Earshel Hogan was kind enough to let me use his Nikon d810, and his Nikon 14-24 2.8 last night. I’m really grateful for his generosity. The combination is just beastly! This is only 1 shot, and I accidentally shot this at 3.2 as well. Its officially time to sell all of my gear! haha.
I spent all morning downloading Creative Cloud in order for me to process the d810 RAW files. I am now finally ready to release one of my favorite shots of last night.
