Cliff Flycatcher (Hirundinea ferruginea)

A perfect spot for a flycatcher – a dead branch overlooking a wide area of land.

It seemed at ease with humans approaching, and was busy chasing prey, grooming and stretching wings in various postures.

This location is halfway up to the Huanchaca Plateau, so I could enjoy looking out over the amazing Noel Kempff National Park lowlands that include jungle, cerrado, and lakes.
