The white egret is a beautiful bird at any time but especially at breeding time. Their plumage was sought after for the adornment of women’s hats which almost lead to their demise. Fortunately this was stopped and they are now see throughout our beautiful state. Their feathers are incredible beautiful and the setting sun helps us to see their real beauty.
