Eine mysteriöse Tür in den Katakomben der Burg Stolpen.
Die Burg Stolpen wurde von einer Höhenburg zum Schloss umgebaut. Sie liegt etwa 27 km östlich von Dresden im Landkreis Sächsische Schweiz/ Osterzgebirge.

Sie wurde auf einem Basaltberg errichtet. 1222 wurde sie erstmals urkundlich erwähnt. Sie wurde mit dem örtlich vorhandenen Basalt errichtet.Zur Wasserversorgung wurde ein Brunnen gebaut, er gilt als der tiefste in Basalt getrieben Brunnen der Welt mit 84,39 m. Er wurde nach 22 Jahren Bauzeit fertig gestellt.

Im 18. Jahrhundert diente die Burg als Gefängnis für die Gräfin Cosel, die Mätresse August des Starken. Die Gefangenschaft dauerte von 1716 bis zu ihrem Tode 1765 im Alter von 85 Jahren. Die letzten 20 Jahre lebte sie im Johannisturm, der im Volksmund den Namen “Coselturm” erhielt.

Die Burg kann heute noch besichtigt werden.

I woke up at 3:45 and drived 2 hours to get to the Rakotzbridge near to Kromlau. Its a bridge witch is around 160 years old. It tooked around 10 years to build this bridge. It makes a perfect ring with the reflection in the water. It has a really mystical aura in the morning…
