If you look closely to the crowd, you will see a lot of blue screens. It became very popular to see the show through your phone or camera. I always preferred natural.
But wait, you will say, weren’t you the one capturing this picture. I would say yes, but I prepared beforehand and just kept on pressing the shutter button 😉

Advent. Every year it is celebrated with fireworks. What’s more, while the fireworks are doing its job, the winner song of Eurovision is played. One Swedish friend told me once why, but I cannot remember, if someone knows please comment.

The time this photo was taken interesting thing happened.
I was standing with my tripod and camera, ready to shoot fireworks. All of the sudden middle age woman with Canon camera and tripod is trying to get through the crown closer to me. I thought she wanted to get to shoot fireworks too. Nothing like it, she stops next to me, says no word, sets the tripod, photographs botanical garden with dark sky and disappears.

Fireworks, such a lovely invention. No material use, pollute the environment, but we still love them. The light, the colour and the shape, everything adds up for emotional satisfaction. I see it as an art, just short lived.

4 candles is a symbol of advent. I remember it since I was small, you will have 4 candles and you will light each candle per week to represent upcoming Christmas.
For some reason they put them on young girls head in Sweden and call it Lucia 😀

Advent start is always connected with some great activities. This year there was a Christmas market in the Uppsala castle. All sorts of hand made goods for sale 😉
You cannot find those kind of stuff in Sweden these days, everything is branded and quality controlled.
It is nice to see hand made stuff around, brings cosiness and old time feel 😉
