I made this photo when I was at Kyoto, Japan this summer. It was a rainy day and I went with a friend to the Ryozen Kannon. It is a war memorial commemorating the dead of the Pacific War located in Eastern Kyoto. There were walls full with Kanji. The red Kanji caught my eye and made this photo.
